SVNJB Health Protocols

Approximately 35 to 45 million youth 6 to 18 years of age participate in some form of athletics. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many aspects of the lives of children and families, including youth sport activity. As children present for health supervision visits and preparticipation physical evaluations, parents and athletes likely will ask questions about how best to ensure safety when considering a return to sports participation and physical activity. Please follow the link below for SVNJB health protocols.

What is NJB

NJB is a competitive program, with emphasis placed on good sportsmanship, scholastic achievement, and skills development. We truly believe that everyone wins playing in NJB. All parents and players interested in a high quality basketball program should strongly consider National Junior Basketball.

Our chapter competes locally against 14 other chapters in Northern California and if teams qualify can compete in Southern California for a National Title! Come join us this year for a great basketball experience. Unlike a lot of other basketball leagues, NJB has set schedules for games and practices, a regular season, playoffs and the opportunity to compete against multiple divisions throughout Silicon Valley. In past years we have had several teams qualify for the National Title in Southern California with some teams taking home the championship.

For first and second grade players, there is a rookie developmental league.

For 3rd through 8th, there are several divisions to help better match teams and players competitively, along with an All Net division with tryouts for those looking for a more competitive experience.

What is Redwood NJB

Redwood NJB has been a great service to our community for the last 26 years. It has allowed us to play organized basketball in a safe and fun environment. We at Redwood strive to make Redwood basketball a place to learn the game of basketball and be part of a team. We want every kid to grow and learn the fundamentals of the game.  Redwood has been a great basketball league for kids in our community. Please join us this year.
